Anyone know anybody added to a Gall Bladder hot list for NHS removal of Gallbladder?
Husband added 3 weeks ago but as yet not heard when surgery will be.
How long did the person you know wait?

@Elstep I had mine out last year, I was classed as priority due to a pre existing cardiac condition! The wait was 9 months

Thank you, i was hoping it would be quicker than that. Husband has gangrenous gall bladder, he cannot get travel insurance, and of course has to be very careful about what he eats. He was in hospital with an infected gall bladder for 2 weeks fighting the infection, discharged and now in limbo.
