B12 injections reaction

due to low levels i am currently having my loading doses, I feel terrible after my most recent one and can’t find much about these side effects online. On an old thread a couple of people have said they don’t feel great for up to 48 hrs after these injections. I’m due one on Friday then going away with friends at the weekend!

I know how important it is to have these injections but should I be doing something else to stop feeling awful afterwards?

has anyone got any experience please!

I’ve been having them for 9 years and never had any side effects. I’m prone to side effects from injections and medication too. Hope you feel okay for your weekend away!

I not only give B12 injections, but I have them myself too. In over a decade I’ve only ever had on patient have any sort of reaction and I’ve done loads of them. I’ve done 7 injections already this week, half of those to people a number of injections into their loading doses, the other their 3 monthly top up.

Hopefully it’s just coincidental and you will be fighting fit for your weekend away.

No clue why that’s super sized and bold!😳

Haha loud and clear! I feel like I’ve got a terrible hangover so I am hoping it just goes and the injection on Friday doesn’t do anything weird!

thanks so much for the reassurance, the site of the injection is absolutely fine too so I thought I was doing well haha
