Diazepam for tooth extraction- dosage?

I've asked my dentist to advise on this , but am still waiting for a response. I will need to have a molar extracted and I have dental anxiety. I already take 5mg before a dentist appointment, as standard. As my practice does not offer sedation, I would like to know if I can take a higher dose of diazepam. Would this be 10mg or more? If I wanted sedation , I would have to be referred somewhere else , and I'd rather stick my familiar dentist surgery. Anyway able to provide info?

Speak to a pharmacist?

5mg to 15mg is advised but no more than 15mg.
30 minutes before procedure.
I take 10mg before procedures.

I’ve heard back from them now and it’s 10mg.
