My son is 5 and been on a waiting list for adhd/autism assessment. He's always been a very happy little boy However about 3 months ago he started getting angry and irritable. He seems fine at school but at home he goes off on one with slight things and at bedtime has changed into a shouty angry child who hates reading when it was something he used to love.

I only recently realised he got more angry when he fell and hit his face at school. He fell onto concrete . He seemed ok in himself at the time but could this have contributed to the change in behaviour or just coincidence?

Hi
Always get a head injury seen to if u think its causing symptoms. More than likely thou, your son is acting out at home because he has to behave in school. My son was a nightmare at home so i spoke to school and they couldnt believe it because he was so good in school! Was told he cant express his feelings or misbehave in school and has pent up energy and they feel confident at home so they let it all out then!
