Lump

I had triple negative breast cancer in 2006. I had op and chemo and rads and have been fine since. This morning I found a big lump in the good breast. I have a GP appointment this afternoon. I am scared. My dh died at the end of May I am so sad and so frightened.

GP has referred to breast clinic. She thinks the lump may well be an abscess and has started a course on antibiotics as I also have a raised temperature and signs of a urine infection. However she feels it definitely needs checking.

Sounds as if there's reason to be optimistic if you can manage to! This must be very hard. Tell us how you get on.
