Another rash/bite picture

Anyone have thoughts on this bite/rash on DS3 (14) top of foot? It appeared after him spending the weekend in a field camping although he had socks on all the time. There was nothing like a tic attached to it at any point.

The little dots either side are just from him scratching it!!

Mosquito bites look like that on me, and the bastards can quite easily bite through socks.

If a ring appears around it get to gp ASAP for antibiotics, could be tic, best be on the safe side
