DD's hair is all matted...any ideas for tangle free locks without tears??

Dear all

DD (2.5)has had Chicken Pox in the last few weeks and had lots of spots on her head so we couldn't brush her hair and now she has a matt of tangled hair at the back. I have tried lashings of conditioner and still no joy. Any suggestions please.

I know it's for nits/head lice, but the actual lice remover not the daily spray that is Nitmix is great for knotty hair. It worked a treat on my nieces hair and hers was a birds nest! the daily spray also keeps the lice away! they hate the smell(it's a natural essential oil mixture). Available on the internet.
