Suddenly struggling with heat

I’m 49 and have always loved the heat. In fact I hate the cold and feel it badly, always have. But this year I have found that when it’s hot or even just warm my hands and feet swell up in the night. Now this morning I have had to leave church early because it was so hot (Victorian building…really not that hot, ever), I felt sick and faint. Now lying on my bed with weird feeling hands and feet.

Is this an age related thing or should I be worried? Im normally fit and healthy, no health issues at all. I do take HRT for peri menopause symptoms and am on my period today. Don’t tell me this is another peri symptom 😬 (well obviously do tell me if that’s what it is but honestly, I’ve had enough already).

Thanks for your thoughts.
