Weird bruise on hand ?!

So I have health anxiety.. so I will NOT be making a doctors appointment.. but I am wondering if anybody knows what this is? It's been there about a week. Looks like a bruise. No pain whatsoever, left hand (I am right handed) I can't think of anything I could have possibly done to it but it's not going away. Pic added below.

If you don't think you've banged it, maybe it's gripping a bottle/jar tightly to open it (I've had a similar mark from that in the past).

If it's not bothering you I'd just ignore it.

Please update me on this @AutumnalPumpkin

I have exactly this - but a bit worse. I have had it for nearly two years and it's not healing. My blood tests were fine and the local general hospital refused to accept my GPs referral. I am now going to a different hospital dermatology dept next month, although to be honest I'm not sure whether dermatology is the correct dept, or whether it should be vascular or cardiac. In short - no one really knows. It's left hand only.

Out of interest, this is my left hand last winter - photo sent to GP surgery. It's about the same level of bruising now.

@happyinherts
That is very strange. Although I'd say if it's not actually causing you pain or you're not experiencing any other problems that could be connected, then I'd just let it be. (I'm crap at taking my own advice. I will convince myself I'm dying.. but give others complete rational advice so feel free to ignore😆)
I did a bit of searching online (I know I shouldn't) and found something called Achenbach syndrome. It looks similar to your hand - see picture

Thank you for that. I'll look it up. To date, the GPs have consulted and not come up with any diagnosis. It doesn't cause pain or any connected problems to my knowledge, but I am concerned that it will get worse if it's to do with circulation. In the heat of the last few days it's been a bit sore.

I suppose you'll have to just monitor your bruising and see if it heals soon. I'm sure you'll be fine. I apologise if I have unwittingly scared you, but yes, I hope your hand improves or you will be reassured from the doctor. Take care x
