2WW for Endoscopy and test results.

Hi,
Has anyone been for an endoscopy? How was it?
I have been referred due to suspected upper GI cancer.

I had blood results come back where my B12 and monocytes were elevated. I have no idea what this means I just got a message telling me to stop any supplements I was taking but I'm not taking any but to take some Vit D supplements because I was low on that.

Was fine cos I was sedated! Not on nhs though.
I had bad reflux symptoms hence the endoscopy and they found h pylori and duodenal inflammation prob because of the former, biopsies clear.
Hopefully you’ll be ok.

I had an endoscopy and a failed colonoscopy on the same day.
I received my endoscopy results the same day - I had to have further procedures which in turn diagnosed colon cancer.
I was always under the impression you get the results on the day.
