Chest pain, can anyone relate?

Approx 4 weeks ago I started to feel a pain in my upper chest. It's sort of just below/under the collar bone area. Left side only. It came and went, didn't think much of it.
It did come on very suddenly but wasn't constant, it just came and went. Full ache, like tooth ache.
Over the past couple weeks it's got worse. It's really painful, stops me from doing what I'm doing so I can say ouch and rub it. Again, not constant, but more like a big wave which goes on a while.
I have rang the go who said it's not urgent and I have to wait for a routine appointment.
Anyone any guesses what it could be?
I haven't injured myself, the pain doesn't move at around. I can still use my arm, neck, shoulders etc.
I am starting to spiral worrying what it could be :(

OP - don't mess about with chest pain. Get it looked at.

Thank you!
Yes I agree. I guess it more around /under the collar bone then the heart area... it's hard to explain really!
Still waiting on the go to call me with my routine app 😳

I've had something similar sounding. Got a ECG AND echo scan and diagnosed with precordial catch syndrome.

I would definitely have it checked out as it can be really scary. Hope you get seen quickest.

It can help to have a diary of when pain starts and duration plus what activity you do when it starts. This will help the GP.
