Exercise dvd - recommendations please

Preferably not too long, maybe in 15 minute segments so I don't have to spend too long on it if time is short.
Also not too dancey, as I'm not brilliantly coordinated.
And not so difficult that I'm put off (though I'm reasonably fit already)

Any ideas?

I have tried a lot of exercise DVDs, and the top one that I've done for ages and works, is the Cindy Crawford Next Challenge from 1993. It is really good, tones everything. It takes 1 hour but you can choose which of the 15 min segments to do (aerobics, abs, arms, stretching and back) etc. It is fab! You feel like every bit of you has had a workout.

There is an aerobic one called burn it up or something by ministry of sound. It is ok for a basic aerobic workout.

I did the darcey bussell pilates ones and found it pretty useless.

I would really give the cindy crawford one a try, it is really brill. maybe someone else will be along with some other suggestions!

I have a Colleen one (her of Wayne rooney) which is quite good - broken down into cadio and toning sections - kind of a boxing routine in one, and another cardio section which is different (cant remember what it is now!!!). It is good music and not too showy. I have ended up with two copies of the same from my SIL - so if you want one you can have it for postage - shoule be £1.20!

The other one I like is the Davina one - quite tought but good - but only if you like davina!

Dabbles · 02/03/2008 20:43

is the Sonia (off Eastenders) one any good?

stirlingmum · 02/03/2008 20:51

I can also recommend Davina (Power of 3 dvd). Good if short on time as you can just select one 20 min section (legs & bums; Upper body; Abdominals) or do the whole lot.

I've got the Davina one, which is quite good, but I have gotten sick of all the wee "jokes" pretty quickly! Quite a good workout, though, and the comfort of knowing that she has had 3 babies, so in theory it is possible to look that good!

Posey · 02/03/2008 21:26

Thanks all!
I think I used to have a Cindy Crawford one, will have to trawl through my old videos.
Had also heard Davina was good, esp after having babies...will have a look tomorrow.
andyrobo, I'll have the Colleen one from you! Do you want to CAT me your address and I'll bung some money and an envelope in the post to you. Thanks for that
