CK levels (creatinine kinase)

Hello
I don't know if I'm worrying for nothing or if I should be worried. I had a whole host of blood tests done as a general health check (FBC, liver, biochem etc) and all was completely normal, however I noticed that my CK level was 195, and the range is 25-200, so it's definitely on the higher end. GP said we will retest in 2 weeks but in the meantime I'm worried as I know this can indicate heart muscle damage or potentially indicate muscle diseases or even cancer. Has anyone had any experience with high levels of CK and what it could mean?? I don't have any symptoms

@Baby4due2023 I know this post is old but did you get to the bottom of this?

For the last few year my CK and LDH have been just within normal range, 193 and 197 respectively at recent test. Was the same 3 years ago. Should I be worried. Because it's in range the GP isn't bothered but they are both markers of cancer, how come they are raised together?

I'm interested in the CK and LDH as mine are both around 180/190 and have been for a year, no symtoms, GP not interested because it's within the range but seems high and is freaking me out. Anyone?

You're the OP, and still worrying about this 2 years on?

With kindness, it is your health anxiety. Have you sought help for the health anxiety?

@TheSpottedZebra yes I have, I've had some sessions with a therapist, but it will take some time.

In the meantime, I do worry about the CK and LDH, especially as these levels have been high (although just within range) for a while now. And I can't see anyone else posting about raised CK.. I guess I just want to hear experiences of others, that does help me..
