I'm 33 years old and want to TTC in the near future.
I am starting to get really worried whenever I have anything wrong in the 'reproductive area' and i'm thinking of trying to get through to my Gp tomorrow.
I have over the past 4 or 5 months i'd guess, had a one sided 'soreness' the area where I think my ovary would be. It is never painful, I carry on with my days as normal, and its probably there 60 - 70% of the time. Where I am in my cycle doesn't make a lot of difference, I am on day 7 today of my cycle and I can feel it. I would describe it like a heavy feeling, and sometimes when I press down on the area, it feels sore in a spot, or inflammed. I sometimes feel it when I move or stretch that part of my tummy. The other side doesn't feel this way.
Its not painful, just uncomfortable and I have an awareness of when it is there. I used to think it may be ovulation related, but its always the same side and not always when i'd be expecting to ovulate. (Such as today on CD7)
My periods appear to be as normal, but I have recently had a smear test come back, HPV + and abnormal with changes which needs treatment, so that worries me so much too. :( I have had a stressful few years.
My guess is that I might have a cyst of some sort, but I never have before and i'm just generally worrying about TTC.
Any ideas of what this could be and if it will affect fertility having a cyst for months?
