Please help me, I feel so anxious.

I suffered blocked ears as a result of a flight nearly 10 days ago. I’m still abroad and have been given steroid tablets and a nasal spray but am still feeling blocked ears, some pain and can hear myself talking in my head. I had terrible ear problems during a pregnancy 9 years ago and my anxiety is through the roof regarding this latest issue.

I’m so anxious about the flight home incase it makes it even worse.

Has anyone else experienced ETD from a flight and how long did it take to clear. I’m praying that it will.

Thank you for any advice or support.

This sounds unpleasant @EAM1982 .
When is the flight home? If you are home already, is the discomfort starting to improve?

I hope things get better for you soon.

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to reply.

I’m home now and it passed eventually.

I hope this post gives comfort to anyone else who is ever in the same position in the future and does a search on Mumsnet!

I know you didn't ask me but this is what I use.

I used just the regular blue bottle of beconase nasal spray.
