Awful experience with Ellaone MAP

I had to take Ella One a while back due to condom failure. Never again. I had the world‘s worst period ever (on holiday!!) it was that bad I almost sought medical attention. This month started off as usual and had my usual heavy day on day two but woke up today and blood loss is heavy again and very clotty. I have no other women in my family to talk to about this and feel shame that I had to take this as a middle aged woman!! Did anyone else have similar issues with the MAP and how long did this go on?

If you're middle-aged, it may not be the MAP, it might just be perimenopause. My periods got a lot heavier and clothier in my 40s.
