My 9 year old has had 5 episodes of sickness since september. Prevoiusly he has only very occasionally been sick. This seems a lot for it to be normal tummy bugs. He suffers very bad pain in his stomach and is then sick quite a few times over the next 12 hours, usually settles then but sometimes comes back again. No runny poos though. I am starting to stress alot. Any ideas

go to doctor, doesn't sound right - could have bug or intolerance to something.

RCP - there's something called Cyclical vomiting. My friend's ds had this - he did grow out of it.

Go to the GP for a checkup as it might be an intolerance.
I had cyclic vomiting syndrome for about 15 years until it went to full migraines instead. Mine was like absolute clockwork - every 17 weeks, I'd wake up at 5am boiling hot, throw up, and then throw up for the next 14 hours kind of passing out between times. I kept a big bowl and bottle of sugar lemonade under my bed for these occasions as once it started I couldn't move after the first bout.
