Any dentist?

I had a molar extraction Fri - I'm still in pain, is this normal? Tongue is sore and an ulcer has developed where the pliers were pressing against it. I feel really peed off and fed up being on pain for so long.

Not a dentist but Very normal ime. You’ve had a tooth pulled out of your jawbone, it will hurt for a while. Are you taking paracetamol and ibuprofen? There will be inflammation and pain for a few more days and then it will start to get better.
DH had one pulled a couple of weeks ago and stopped complaining about pain around day 10. His stitches came away just yesterday.

Yes as the other poster has it’ll take a while. Keep going with the analgesia and regular warm salt water mouth washes

Ok thanks, I've been on paracetamol and ibuprofen for the last 3/4 weeks because of the pain before the extraction. I'll keep on with the salt mouth washes, altho they make the ulcer on my tongue sting like crazy
