my dd had got an itchy scalp but no sign of nits or eggs!!

sorry but you should check for headlice again. i have had exactly this situation - itchy heads but could see nothing... only to have the utter humiliation of the hairdresser spotting them this pm! aaargh, the shame! the little buggers are very hard to spot and only by combing with a fine tooth comb can you be absolutely certain there aren't any.

oh and we are now going to institute weekly combing in this house

yes she does have a flaky scalp

ill put some hedrin on her hair to see if any there.

put nitty gritty lotion on instead - it also fixes flaky scalp for my dd.
