Hi, had a lower molar extracted last Monday (so I am 8 days) and I had stitches too. I think the tooth site is ok - not red or swollen, but tender still and not really able to eat on that side. However my jaw is still numb/ dull ache/ tender and I do have a small lump/ swollen bit.
Is this normal?
I do have a huge bruise on my chin/ jawline and the dentist did say she may touched my main nerve when she numbered me up as I nearly jumped out of the chair.
Am I worrying unnecessarily? Is my mouth is still recovering from the trauma of the extraction ?
