A headache that's lasted all day?

Woke up at 5am with a headache (right hand side, front of head) didn't think much of it but took some paracetamol. Couple of hours later it still hadn't shifted so took ibuprofen.

It dulled it and I've carried on fine as normal all day, been for two good walks, drunk plenty of water etc, don't feel unwell. But the headache is still there. Never had one that's lasted this long before.

Not at all, though having said that I get frequent headaches that can last for days.

Try and get a good nights sleep and see how you feel in the morning. A warm wheat bag helps mine too.

I was just thinking something warm would be nice but haven't got a wheat bag and the hot water bottle sprang a leak last week 😟

A good nap/sleep with an eye mask tends to help me.

No, but I'm a migraine sufferer who gets constant headaches. Try a cold pack/ice pack and alternate it every 10 minutes or so with a warm wheat bag or hot water bottle.

This was my first and main symptom of my latest bout of covid, a headache stronger than any other previous headache but initially otherwise fine. It's how the latest strain is. Other symptoms developed later.

But obviously if you're worried you should seek medical attention, it goes without saying.
