I have had a sore throat for over a week now which is unlike me. No cold symptoms, just a sore throat and possibly the start of a sinus thing (bit of a headache). Ears hurt but clearly from the throat rather than the ears themselves if that makes sense.
Went to doctor who spent ages prodding things in my throat. He then showed me in a mirror that I have, what look like, cysts on my throat/tonsils. One of them is massive, bigger than a pea, like maybe 1.5x a pea. The others are smaller than a pea. But when he presses them they aren't painful (which is a good sign apparently!). I don't need antibiotics as he did a strep test and it was negative. They are not white (like a tonsil stone) but more like white/pink like an ulcer you'd get in your mouth.
Just wondering if other people have had these, how long did it take to go away.
