Dog had conjunctivitis treated with drops from vet. It was clearly conjunctivitis with green gunge from eye. A couple days after (while dog still being treated) child gets red eye (no discharge)
been to optician who said eye was just red and otherwise healthy no treatment required. But 4 weeks later it’s still very red. Doctor is now saying conjunctivitis and giving drops. I am sceptical it is conjunctivitis though as there is no discharge. I believe viral conjunctivitis can cause redness but doesn’t normally hang around for 4 weeks. Just wondering if I need to push for ophthalmologist appointment now or not.
