That's an Echocardiogram result.
It's ok with just a suggestion of a slight impairment of the hearts pumping in the left ventricle. May be normal for you. The right ventricle and valves ok. Not sure about the last but maybe a slight communication between the right and lady atria which can be found in up to 25% of people, but I'm not sure about that.
Why did you have it done?
Your doctor should be able to explain.

Sorry left atria not lady!

@sproutsandparsnips
sorry for the late reply ! Would you say this isn’t so bad then ? Even though I know there’s obviously improvement…. I have an ecg every year after having a stroke years and years ago ! Seems better though as my EF went down to 45-47 % now back up to 50 ??

Disclaimer: I'm not a cardiologist.
But it's definitely no worse so I would say if it's been stable for so long this is a good thing.
Are you on any medication?

Lifesforloving1 · 18/08/2023 21:17

@sproutsandparsnips

Well it's not far off completely normal - I believe 55% is normal so I think it's not too bad at all!

@sproutsandparsnips
ok thanks ! That makes me feel a bit better about the result.
