dh has an appointment next week to discuss his memory issues. he has short term memory loss from his last stroke in summer 07.

tonight he got really ratty with me becausehe couldnt find some forms. he is insisting that i had had them and moved them. he actually yelled at me, so i yelled back . i had had the forms to phone through for soemthign but then handed them back to him afterwards, and can recall that detail perfectly. according to him, i never did.

i found the forms on the desk, and gave them to him, but he is still insisting that i moved them and is now angry with me

i am finding this part of post-transplant life hard.

and i wish i didnt.

I suffer short term memory problems, but mine is things like forgeting where I put my purse, sending in money to school, when theshopping is being delivered. Becasue I know I am like this, I bought a box file, all letters appointments etc go in it, after they have been written in my diary, DH's diary, my reminder thing on PC and the calendar. I haveanother diary beside the bed, which I look at first thing in the morning. i ahve , pinned on the wall, a list of who needs what one each day - DS1 Tuesday, swimming stuff, DS2 Monday - trumpet, that sort of thing.
obviously not like Peter's, but I do know how frustrating it can be,
