My GP surgery now only offers e-consult and then you get triaged. I have been triaged to a waiting list for a ‘skin clinic’ and I am not sure if this is really the right area for my issue, so asking on here if anyone has had this condition and can help me understand if I should be pushing back to the surgery.

In the past after walking long distances, especially in very flat shoes I would get lumps on the front of my lower legs. And they used to disappear. Recently, probably more than 3 months ago, could even be a year, one didn’t disappear and remained there. I think it’s got bigger/ more prominent.

This week I have noticed 2 similar lumps on my other leg so thought I should get checked out. My gut feeling is it’s some kind of varicose vein type issue and hopefully nothing more sinister than that. Would a nurse at the skin clinic be the right person to review these lumps? I am sure if there were lumps on my breast (for example) I would not be triaged to the skin clinic, but may be this is a skin condition? 🤞🏻

Thank you

Aren’t they varicose veins?

I don't know, maybe! Wouldn't they be blue though?
