Constipation

Does anyone have any experience of chronic constipation improving (or even going away)?

@Ginandtoxic Hope you don't mind me asking (and feel free to ignore if you do!!) but do you have slow transit? Or another type of constipation? Wondering if I should give Movicol another go

I suffered from constipation for years and tried literally everything. The only thing that worked was running, which is ok if I wanted to run, but if I was unable for whatever reason, I suffered again. Then, last year, I was unable to run for a few weeks due to an injury, so I went for a colonic. @Ihateboris 😂 that really made me laugh (not easy atm as I feel so vile). So interesting - what do you think it is in this product that works for you?

@Wotty I'm not actually sure, I've never heard of that term before today on here ha. I do get constipation very easily though, I have to constantly have movicol in the cupboards. As soon as I don't go for even 1 days I just start taking it before it becomes a problem. I take packs of sachets on holiday with me otherwise I go the whole week without going to the toilet and it's hell

I'm honestly not sure why it's so effective - I suppose it's the combination of ingredients. What I like about it, is that there is never an urgency to go (unlike traditional laxatives), but it feels more natural,if that makes sense. Here's a picture of the ingredients..
