Breast lump

Hi! I am a 31 y/o mum of 2. A few months ago I found a very solid lump in my right breast, larger than pea size but smaller than a marble. Left it alone as I thought it was period related. It didn’t go.

GP felt it immediately, and some other smaller lumps. Had some bloods done and a referral to the breast clinic. My appointment is in 5 days. My blood results showed iron deficiency anaemia, which is new. Advised o take 400mg of iron a day for 3 months and then review.

Could these things be related? Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I know it's difficult. I had a lump, went to the breast clinic and they found several lumps (bit like a bag of bloody marbles). I just have very cyst prone breasts. I had scans etc that day and found out there and then. I am also low on ferritin but that came after the lumps. Many many woman are iron deficient so I'm not sure it's related.

I hope you get your answers soon.
