How to reduce swelling?

I have tried ibuprofen and ice, ice works OK but swells up again once removed.

Swelling on one side of my upper lip, I look hideous, like I've had really botched lip injections and I have to leave for work in less than an hour via v v busy public transport (bus strikes!) and then I have to face everyone at work, I really do look awful.

Think it's caused by a combination of: spot on upper lip, heat, being out in the sun for an hour yesterday (wearing spf!) and taking DD for the first swim of the day yesterday morning (very strong chlorine smell, has tinged my hair a little green!)

Will try anything to reduce this swelling, hopefully can get to work via the pharmacy but the only once close enough is notorious for opening later than advertised most days.

I’d try an antihistamine

@DustyLee123 Thank you, yes will take an antihistamine now, I didn't even think of that! Thanks again.
