Hacks for remembering to take vitamins

I've been told to take vitamins (breastfeeding) but am terrible at doing it. I've put them by my bed but just flop in and forget. I've put them on the breakfast table but they look like clutter and I clear them away. I've put them in the bathroom but that felt unhygienic. I don't want to set an alarm because of baby napping. Anyone have any genius places to put them where they won't be clutter in the way but also where I'll remember to take them?

Just do a daily reminder on your phone (google calendar on mine) and don't dismiss it until youve taken them!

Choupette7 · 09/08/2023 19:47

I put them in the mug cupboard as I will make lots of cups of coffee per day.

TenOhSeven · 09/08/2023 19:47

Just set a reminder on your phone. It's not rocket science.

ShadowPuppets · 09/08/2023 19:48

Keep them wherever you keep nappies and wipes?

whatchagonnado · 09/08/2023 19:48

I put mine by my toothbrush

Halo8 · 09/08/2023 19:49

In the cupboard next to coffee and breakfast cereals.

I bought a not-ugly jar for mine so they didn't annoy me cluttering up the bathroom shelf. What if you put them next to your toothbrush?

I have mine when I have cereal. So it is sort of the third part of my breakfast (tea, cereal, vitamin)

calmcoco · 09/08/2023 19:50

I put mine with my toothbrush

iPad or iPhone reminder - name the alarm "Take Vitamins!"

ladeluge · 09/08/2023 20:11

Phone alarm. Repeat function ON.

Thanks for this thread OP, has reminded me to take mine today!

Maybe we need a vitamin accountability thread...

birdglasspen · 09/08/2023 20:24

Is there something you do every day without fail? Mine is a morning coffee so my pill is in the coffee pods box. Near toothbrush is another good idea. Just think of something you always do and you’ll soon remember.

Herewegoagain2023 · 09/08/2023 20:30

İf you've got older children, buy them some sweet like vitamins and tell them they can have one every day; they'll soon remind you.

BobBobBobbing · 09/08/2023 20:52

Take them when you feed a pet. You'll not keep track of the time but your pet will absolutely know what time it is and pester you relentlessly.

randomusernam · 09/08/2023 21:05

Put it on top of the bread bin

Crucible · 09/08/2023 21:15

Put at least one blister pack of the vits around your toothbrush with an elastic band. If they're huge bullets (like perfectil) it might be tricky but if the pack isn't too big it might work.

I have a nespresso machine so I could put them on top of that (it's really old so quite wide but used religiously every morning!) great idea, thanks!

I think I'd just think "oh I'll do that once I've changed DD" and forget but I get what you mean!

Put them in the cupboard next to the bread, or next to the kettle.

Ooo this isn't a bad idea, doggo certainly does not let me forget his breakfast so I could just put them on top of his food box! Thanks!

On top of your cereal box
or coffee machine
or anything you eat / drink from every day

FiftyNotNifty · 09/08/2023 22:19

Next to the kettle, I will always boil the kettle! But then I can't remember sometimes if I took them or not.
