Fluttering over ovary

Ifeelsuchflutterings · 06/08/2023 23:41

I'm wondering if anyone has had this before and knows what's causing it?

I've had a fluttering/popping/twitching sensation over my left ovary on and off all day now and it's driving me mad

Google just brings up pregnancy related stuff but it's not that so I wondered if anyone else had any idea what it might be?

I'm pretty sure it's not gas/wind (googles other suggestion) as everything has been normal today apart from this.

I really don't want to bother 111 or whatever the medical one is (I get the police and medical one confused) or my GP with what is essentially a flutter but it's driving me mad!

Sounds like a sort of muscle twinge. Ever had a c section?

No c section or any surgery ever

It could be a muscle twinge but honestly I don't know how I would have done something to a muscle there and it feels more internal that that iyswim?

But I guess if its muscular maybe some ibuprofen would make it stop?

I honestly can't sleep its so irritating!

I feel that when I ovulate. So do my female relations so it's not just me!

...but not all day long like you, sorry ( just re read your OP).

I can normally tell which side I ovulate from but this feels different, although I guess it could be some wierd ovulation thing?

I honestly haven't a clue where in my cycle I am as I have a coil so no periods and I don't tend to take much notice of the ovulation feelings
