I 'think' I might have carpal tunnel
Have doctors appointment in week
My right hand wrist etc are painful fingers tingling & pain up to shoulder sometimes
I'm very dominant with right hand even type one handed 🙈 but I'm finding hand hurts writing

Any tips / suggestions of how people deal with this?
I exercise quite a bit & people have said stop but reading online reports say no need to stop

Get a wrist splint and wear it every night when you go to sleep. Rest it as much as you can when you are in a ‘flare’, I find mine will usually settle down again after that.

I got two wrist splints from eBay for £10. They work a treat

What did the dr's say please?

I've developed what I believe is CT and although I've been wearing splints at night, I'm waking up in the night with hideous burning/parasthesia in my hands....it keeps me awake for quite while and is very uncomfortable!

I’ve had it for years. It comes and goes depending on what activities I do. Sometimes I wake up at night and I’ve completely lost the feeling in my whole arm and I can only move it by picking it up with the other arm.
Splints help, but I think you need to look at what’s causing it as it’s often an RSI thing.
