Bleeding after sex

aa the title states

for the last year / poss year and a half I have noticed that after I have Alex when j swipe there is a tiny bit of blood pink/red blood. No pain and it's just like a streak of blood not lots.

my last smear was a year late and I am currently waiting the results (I didn't go because of the bleeding just because it was due)

we haven't been having lots of sex recently which is why I wasn't overly worried because I thought it was possibly due to dryness I just haven't really been in the mood with other health issues. But last few times I was and noticed the blood which has now made me wonder...would it be worth a call to the GP or will they just want to wait until my results are in.

Yes I think I will just wasn't sure if they wouldn't do anything further until my smear results which are taking ages

What do you do for contraception? Some women on the pill can have an ectropion on their cervix (sounds scary but really isn’t!) which is where some of the cells that are usually in the uterus grow on the other side of the cervix, and they can bleed more easily, so for example after sex.

did the nurse who took your smear comment on how your cervix looked?

I have the mierna coil have had for three years.

last had an sti check done in 2018 (both of us at start of relationship) my last smear was just before then or early 2019 I'm it 100% so def a year and a half late.
