CAme off pill 4 months ago (i have previous theads!) and we decided to ttc last month (not sure if releveant!) havent had any side effects of coming off pill, periods have been day 28,33,30 and 28. My boobs have been killing me for around 3 weeks. Not so bad at the moment, but real achy, like when first pg. I never used to get them and dont understand why like it now. No lumps, or anything unusual. Did a pg test the day i came on last week and was neg so cant be that. Any one else have this prob and any ideas what it is??

i get achey boobs from ovulation through to day 4 of my period.it is a symptom of pms for me.i never got this pre-kids,my pms has got a bit worse after each child.i think the achey boob thing started after dc3.

my boobs are really sore/tender for 3 weeks of the month.

GP says it's my age/hormones.

mad4mybaby · 28/02/2008 19:26

every month? Poor you! When you say doc says your age/hormones.. im guessing you mean you arent as young as you used to be? (trying to be polite)

Im 26 and have never had this before. Pretty sure if i went to gp she just say it down to coming off pill but that was over 4 months ago!

Have you tried evening primrose? It's supposed to help with PMS symptoms (which this sounds like)

mad4mybaby · 28/02/2008 19:29

yep! I also take magnesium.
