Bleeding after wisdom tooth removal??

I had one infected wisdom tooth removed at 10am this morning. Blood has been slowly trickling down the inside of my mouth ever since so like 7/8 hours , all I can taste is blood ? Is this normal ?
I thought it wasn't normal so I bit down on a teabag covered in kitchen roll for 20 minutes and it's still continued.
I was told to keep swallowing the saliva but it's got blood init so tastes awful. I've been sipping water.
Obviously I was expecting there to be bleeding but i thought it was meant to slow down?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Is it packed ?
