DD develops big red spots on her top lip, usually when she's very stressed / run down, roughly every six months. The last time we saw a pharmacist who shrugged and gave a spot cream.
Today, the current one has developed white spots. And now I can't work out if this could be a cold sore?
None of our family have cold sores so if it is, I've no idea where she would have picked up the virus.
The little white spot to the right is how they start, then get red, then get bigger. Which doesn't seem to follow what I've read about cold sores. And they don't go crusty afterwards, just eventually shrink and fade.
I just want to make sure I'm treating appropriately.
