Carpal tunnel

Anyone suffered with carpal tunnel?

I've been googling my hand wrist arm pain & have diagnosed this .... it's in my dominant right hand which I use more & also type one handed in work ... bizarre I know!
I've booked the doctors for next wk but just after some advice?!

It's pain in my wrist & up to elbow not too severe to do anything but it is noticeable!

I've had carpal tunnel in the past. Goes from being noticeable but not severe up to the point where I had to stop driving temporarily while I waited for an op.

Originally it was a weird tingly pain like sensation that went from my wrist/just into my hand up to my elbow.

Glad you've got GP booked, although they might not take notice until it's a bit worse. Mine was very wait and see until it got noticeably worse.

I surgery on both hands, resolved it well after healing. Mine was assessed as clinically extremely severe. It might be worth trying a splint.

@BiPolarBabe that's exactly it weird tingly but can be painful

I'll look a at a splint after docs @Sewingdufus sure what they say

Maybe I need to try not be to dominant ... but realise I literally do everything right handed! Your right docs may or may not take notice

I did use splints for a bit, when it had worsened but before it was really severe. They do help.

It's an odd thing, for me it wasn't constant. I had good days and bad days. But I got the op when it became clear that the bad days were getting worse and more frequent.
