Sorry that wasn't a nice thing to say, I just meant, we can't keep worrying and worrying about someone who won't listen to our concern - I didn't mean it in a nasty way whatsoever

Just trying to stop others getting too worked up.

Hope you are Ok PP, Divastrop's post is the one I'd read carefully.

No TMMJ, not at all, it was a 'I am trying to think of a reason we should not let this annoy us, but not sure if this one is valid' emoticon.

Flllightattendant · 27/02/2008 17:01

PP I am so glad, didn't mean to have a go, just scared for you - indigestion does not cause internal bleeding ime...

There are lots of us who have had bad advice from HCP's in the past and prefer you to get a second opinion, sorry to sound so bossy!

Good luck, really hope you are OK xx

Just got home..my poo was normal, and the GP still sent me to A and E, I am very surprised the nurse said just to take Gaviscon

HereComeTheGirls · 27/02/2008 17:50

I must add though..it does wind me up a bit when people think they know better than health professionals with lots of training, so I should really listen to the nurse, so hopefully you are fine, I am just concerned

HereComeTheGirls · 27/02/2008 17:51

That was only directed at myself there BTW

HereComeTheGirls · 27/02/2008 17:59

I actually just read that 9 out of 10 cases of black stools are not an emergency..but you would not want to be the 1 in 10, that's how I would look at it OK, off to feed junior, thats the end of the million posts from me

emma1977 · 27/02/2008 19:29

I really hope that you went to A&E today. The symptoms you are describing constitute an emergency requiring urgent assessment.

Whoever gave you the advice at the WIC needs a bloody good slap!

HereComeTheGirls · 27/02/2008 19:32

Well said!

HereComeTheGirls · 28/02/2008 15:46

Any news? Hope all is well!

PenelopePitstops · 28/02/2008 17:20
