Blood tests, stool samples, FIT test, anxiety

I'm 42. Recent bowel changes, bloating, abdominal cramping and discomfort. I visited the GP a week ago. She prescribed Mebeverine for spasms and requested blood tests, stool samples and a FIT test. I suffer from terrible health anxiety and yes lately I have been spiralling.

My blood tests all returned as normal (apart from cholesterol). I'm awaiting my stool results.

I do know that googling symptoms and asking strangers online isn't the best thing to be doing but I feel really desperate. My question is: if there was cancer present (bowel) would my bloods be deranged?

Bloods done: bone, liver, kidneys, serums, diabetes, fbc. I know I should feel slightly relieved but health anxiety is a vicious cycle.

OP I am going through EXACTLY the same thing! Bloods on Tuesday and 3 stool samples to do. I'm terrified i have bowel cancer but I know things aren't right.
