We've just had a letter through asking me to book these for DS (3.8) for the week before half term.

Can they feel a bit under the weather/grouchy after these injections as we're due to go away for the first weekend of the hols.

I can't remember if they affected DD or not.

The jabs are not compulsory, nor is the schedule. So if you are worried that your child may be unwell/grouchy afterward then book them in for when suits you.

DD1 had hers last week (one in each arm).

She didn't have any problems afterwards.

Although she did complain her arms hurt, but not where the injections had been done

Thanks both.

I realise that I can book them for anytime I wish but just want to avoid certain times if theres a chance of any reaction.

lizziemun -how was your DD about the whole experience? What did you tell her beforehand?
