Anyone one else Ill with cold /tonsillitis?

Is it just me ?
Had a stonker of a cold all last week
Felt better on the Saturday , then rough as anything Sunday drs said unlucky I got tonsillitis straight after cold !
Just wondering if anyone else has been Ill it’s unusual this time of year for myself to be poorly !
Guess I’m just pondering 🤔

Me😫😫 I've come down with something since Sunday....migraine....fever, chills, hacking cough, tight wheezy chest, blocked nose sore throat. I feel terrible. Spoke to Gp who said if it's not easing off by Thursday I'll be prescribed something

Oh that’s awful !! I hope u get antibiotics asap ! My cold was manageable! But Sunday when tonsillitis hit I rang 111 at 5.30pm they didn’t call me back til 9am Monday morning I already had G.P appointment I’m on penicillin 8 tabs a day 7 days !! Hope you feel better soon it’s not fun !!!

Yessss me I came down with a sore throat on Saturday just ignored it but Sunday I had body aches fever and chills felt so lethargic now I feel almost 100% I've just got this cough that's stuck around coughing up loads of green phlegm in the morning (sorry to disgust) I'm sure I have a chest infection

Oh noooo looks like something is deffo doing the rounds then !! Sounds like antibiotics are needed ! My Tip for the cold symptoms is Beechams drinks they weee life savers ! Hope u get well soon x
