Thyroxine & period delay

I started thyroxine last week for sub clinical hypothyroidism so have been on it for 8 days now. Period was due yesterday today at the latest. it's not here and no signs it's going to show up either. Periods are normally fairly regular between 31/32 days long. Anyone know if thyroxine can muck up your cycle?

I think it can. Does it say anything on the info. in the box?

@Knittedfairies I'll have a look when I get home the doctor mentioned heart palpitations and that was about it. I know that the hypothyroidism can make periods irregular but I didn't have that problem so would be frustrating if I am going to get irregular ones now 🙄
