Pain in right breast

I have had a sore feeling in my right breast for a few days. I am really worried as I haven't felt this before. I am on at the moment so can't be pregnant. I can't feel any lump or anything but it feels tender and a slight dragging feeling.
Do you think I have cause to be concerned???

blossom - tenderness I find to be very hormonal feature and I am less than regular, so it doesn't bother me when my boobs feel tender. But you are obviously worried, is it something you never get?

Apparently muscle pain can feel like breast pain. Don't know if that helps.

Something just doesn't feel right. The thing with me is that the minute I feel something isn't right/is different I convince myself it's the c word
Could be hormonal I suppose as I am on at the moment????

sometimes i get boob pain when i have my period too. dont know why. does it ache or is it tender to touch etc? is it red or hot? hope you are ok.

Well it is achy and slightly sore. I keep feeling for a lump but nothing. I just scared about things like this.

the big c is the first thing that comes in your head about things like this, i know. but pain isnt the only symptom. if you are feeling for a lump feel right up into the armpit, is your nipple any different to what it normally is?

stand in front of the mirror with your bra off and arms above your head and compare your boobs (remember they will not be exactly the same!)

as i said i get boob pain during my period, so if it eases when your period stops then it might be that. the other thing is are you on the pill? sometimes that can make your boobs ache.

Definitely! sounds like "cyclical" - goes away on its own!

I hope so. I had a realy weird dream last night that I had cancer. It was so real.

I've had this too, and after a lot of other goings-on saw a breast cancer consultant. He said that loads of women suffer from chest wall pain which presents as breast pain but is absolutely nothing to worry about. Chin up

That's probably to do with time of the month too!
