Will dd be worse tomorrow?

She banged her knee very hard on a very sharp edge of our coffee table this evening. She made such a scream that I thought she'd broken something, then she cried for aaages! Her knee looks like it has a small puncture wound, but her trousers don't have a hole in them so nothing has got into her skin. She can bend it ok, but it is very red and obv very very sore to touch. We put Arnica on straight away but by the looks of it I'm worried that the huge bruise will come through tomorrow and she might have problems bending it then. She's due on a school trip tomorrow, lots of walking and standing involved. Should I bandage it? Should I send her if it's bad? She's really looking forward to it.

Ouch your poor dd

How strange that there is a small puncture wound.I think i would see how it is in the morning but i imagine it will be quite sore and stiff.

I know, I'm worried about "joint mice", small pieces of bone that are dislodged following a severe blow. From the noise she was making you'd think she had broken it! It does look extremely sore too and I dread to think what it might be like in the morning.
