Driving me nuts

I have shortish hair i have it dyed every 3 to 5 months same hairdresser same dye for years, havent bedn done since april but a month ago my head started itching. I never use anything but shampoo and ocasionaly conditioner. So i got tea tree shampoo which usually does the trick if i get scritchy scalp. No still itched tried conditioner usual way rinse in cold water etc still itchy so bought a coal tar shampoo. Still itching so in desperation got nit shampoo hubby and i went thru with comb as instructed hubby even got magnifying glass out nothing so washed off as said in tea tree shampoo then rinsed with cold water dare not tell hubby heads itching im at a loss to know what to do. In fact im in tears was hoping to get my hair cut ready for my birthday but darent go to hairdressers feel so awful can anyone suggest ñanything please

Did you ever get sorted out ? I have similar, have tried some head lice stuff. Still itching, I’ve ordered more head-lice stuff, just in case. Although I can’t see anything.
Its driving me mad.
