Mole changes - when to get checked

Hi I noticed a mole on my back has become quite raised and red (it was itchy this morning and when I scratched it I noticed). Has anyone had a mole like this before (see pictures), and did it end up being ok or something more sinister?

It’s hard to get GP appointments where I live and I don’t have a family GP, therefore wondering if it’s something that I should go to a walk in clinic for, or wait a couple weeks to get a GP appointment.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!

It’s not something you should wait weeks to be looked at, although I don’t know if that one in particular is suspicious or not, I know you shouldn’t delay.

I would get it looked it as soon as possible.
You may of knocked it or something but changes like itching and colour etc should be checked out

Thanks for your replies! I’ll see if I can get an earlier appointment to be on the safe side.

If there's a delay in seeing the GP, show it to a pharmacist today.
