Pip help needed

Hi all, I am currently on PIP but have has changes to my illness since my last claim which I believe would increase my mobility component.

I usually have a bit of a battle as I look well and have an invisible illness so after applying I usually get nothing or low rate on both until i submit an appeal with further evidence etc.

Do I contact them now to say things have changed? Will it go on the current claim or do i have to start a new one? Does money stop in the time of application and processing? I dont want to rock the boat and mess things up but I am entitled more and not sure how to go about it.

Thank you

They are likely to look at your claim again... which means it could increase, could remain the same, or you could lose it completely.
If you have good evidence of your difficulties.. consultant letters/ OT letters/ NHS prescribed mobility aids, then I would go for it.
If not, I would be wary . I believe that your current award would remain until they reach a new decision (that has always been the case for my adult son.. I'm his apointee so do his PIP forms)
