Provera

i’m after experiences of using provera tablets to delay a period please.

I’ve used Norethisterone before many years ago and had no problems apart from a change in my cycle length after using them when I went from a 28 day cycle, to a 26 to a 24 day cycle eventually it returned to a 28day cycle.

the reason I’m thinking of provera for an upcoming holiday is I’m not sure I’m suitable for Norethisterone anymore and provera is an alternative I believe.

Does it work just aswell as Norethisterone ? Any other pro’s or cons would be helpful if anybody has used it before.

Hi
Did you end up using it? I have a holiday coming up too and due to get my period right in the middle of the holiday! I am contemplating opting for provera as well, but have read mixed reviews, so not sure whether to go for it or just let my period come naturally...

Thanks

@livealittlemore

i didn’t end up using provera in the end as the mixed reviews put me off slightly so I just went with it coming when it comes.
