i've just posted this on my blog (it's a craft blog btw), it's a tutorial on how to make an eye patch out of felt.

thought i'd post it here too as it may be of use

wow - what a talent you have! My ds had to make do with bog standard sticky ones, though fortunately he doesn't have to wear one at all atm.

You could have a little shop here on mumsnet for those - loads would buy them. Lots were getting decorative ones from the states.

wer were given a soft patch from eye clinic as well as sticky patches. the soft one worked well for a while but then dd3 broke several pairs trying to remove the patch so we moved onto sticky ones.

how old is your dd now? dd3 was wearing glasses at 18months as well.

misdee, dd is 6 now, but hated the sticky patches, so i googled eye patches, saw the fabric ones you can buy but decided to have a go myself.

the one i made went missing a couple of weeks ago, and i thought she had hidden it, so made another, but it turned up, in my dressing gown pocket

We too have been patching for the last 2.5 yesr, since ds was 18 mths = he is now 4.
