Migraines with numbness

Hi all,

For a year now whenever I have a migraine with an aura, I always see zigzag lines that obscure almost all my vision which is accompanied by confusion and numbness in the right hand that spreads up to the right arm then eventually the lower half of the face. These episodes so last up to an hour. What is the cause and what shall I do

Probably hemiplegic migraine, my DD gets them, but worth chatting to your GP.

I’ve had an MRI in January this year and came back with a pineal gland cyst? The neurologist discharged me but I have no information on how big it is or any actual treatment plan

Agree sounds like hemiplegic migraine. I get them. Was investigated for a stroke the first time, it was terrifying! Numb all the way down my right side. Am now on amitriptyline for prevention and have only had 1 in the last 12 months, which only lasted 24 hours (previously numbness would stay up to 6 weeks!!).
